Adak Oil Spill

KODIAK, Alaska – A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak HC-130 Hercules aircrew conducted an overflight the 142,800 gallon diesel spill on Adak Island Jan. 12, 2010. Adak Petroleum, Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and the U.S. Coast Guard with support from Alaska Chadux, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and NOAA are responding to the spill.
