innov_2009smNext week, the Coast Guard will hold its ninth annual Coast Guard Innovation Exposition at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. This year’s theme is “Innovation Inside – Opportunities Amidst Change.”

As the Coast Guard focuses on modernizing its organizational structure to better conduct its missions and serve the public, it must also continue to foster a culture of innovation to resolve challenges. The annual Innovation Expo offers Guardians an opportunity to showcase and share their initiatives as well as collaborate with others across government, industry and academia.
