As the world continues to follow the response to the catastrophic oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, National Geographic Channel will air the special Gulf Oil Spill. Combining stunning video obtained from the Coast Guard and emergency response crews alongside interviews with some of the first Coast Guardsmen on scene, the one hour special tells the story of the first 36 hours of the response including the initial search and rescue mission by the Coast Guard to save the crew of the Deepwater Horizon. Tune in Thursday at 6 p.m. to watch Gulf Oil Spill on National Geographic Channel. You’ll have one last chance to watch Gulf Oil Spill next Tuesday (June 8th) at 5 p.m.
