The Drawing Board: Ushering in 2014

This year, we will welcome new Fast Response Cutters into the fleet to enhance our operational readiness and honor the memory of our enlisted heros; we will continue to save thousands of lives, interdict illicit drugs headed for our communities, and prevent threats to our homeland from being delivered by sea; and we will witness the time-honored tradition of the change of command ceremony as we welcome a new Commandant of the Coast Guard to lead our service.

We’re several weeks into 2014, but it isn’t too late to usher in what promises to be a big year for your U.S. Coast Guard. This year, we will welcome new Fast Response Cutters into the fleet to enhance our operational readiness and honor the memory of our enlisted heroes; we will continue to save thousands of lives, interdict illicit drugs headed for our communities, and prevent threats to our homeland from being delivered by sea; and we will witness the time-honored tradition of the change of command ceremony as we welcome a new Commandant of the Coast Guard to lead our service.

Coast Guard All Hands looks forward to working throughout 2014 to share the information you need to be successful in support of your missions, your advancement and your families. We look forward to sharing in your successes through Bravo Zulus. And, we hope you will look to us as the Service continues to update you on our efforts to eliminate sexual assault from our Coast Guard.
