Coast Guard support known as CG SUPRT now offers an anonymous on-line program called iPrevail to help eligible employees and their family members with a variety of life challenges such as work stress, relationship problems, adjustment issues, and concerns about alcohol use, depression, and anxiety.
iPrevail gives active-duty and reserve members as well as their families the opportunity to complete a self-assessment, work anonymously on-line with a professional who understands the military, and participate in confidential on-line chats with professional peer coaches who are available to help with overcoming life obstacles and guide users to appropriate resources.
Individuals can create a personalized action plan, built for their specific needs designed to strengthen resilience. The personal plans take the user through a series of structured lessons using the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy.
iPrevail participants earn reward points that may be redeemed for gift cards.
Access iPrevail by visiting www.cgsuprt.com, then go to the section titled “On-demand, Personalized Support for Life’s Challenges” and click “Read More.” You will meet Marianne, your iPrevail Avatar who will help you launch and initiate the service.
