Military Saves Week

 

Military Saves Week, runs from February 23-28 and is an annual opportunity to promote good savings behavior and to assess individual savings status.

“In the military, we’re conditioned to hope for the best, but plan for the worst,” said Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Steven Cantrell. “Finances are no different. Use Military Saves Week to identify your financial goals and adjust your course, if necessary.

The Coast Guard is a partner in the Military Saves Campaign and is committed to helping Coast Guard service members, family members, retirees, and civilians take immediate action to “Set a Goal, Make a Plan & Save Automatically”. Financial stability takes consistent action over time, where small steps to pay off debt and saving can help members and families reach their financial goals.
