The Paratus Report is a workforce news program focused at keeping Coast Guard members informed of what’s happening throughout their Coast Guard. Education benefit updates:
The Coast Guard recently announced that the tuition assistance benefits were back to 100 percent, which is an increase from the previous limit of 75 percent. You can find out more information on how to apply for tuition assistance by reading the blog, and learn more about the update by watching the episode. The Coast Guard has also entered a partnership with Tutor.com, which will allow active-duty Coast Guard members and their families receive free tutoring services.

Merchant Mariner credentialing update:
