The Coast Guard Foundation’s 2016 scholarship season is now open for children of enlisted, active duty reserve and retired U.S. Coast Guard men and women.
In 2015, the Foundation provided more than $400,000 in scholarships to ease the financial burden of college for Coast Guard families, and ensure Coast Guard kids can afford to reach their higher education dreams.
New for 2016, students who have previously received a one-time Coast Guard Foundation scholarship and are still working on their first undergraduate degree, a simple, two-page scholarship renewal form can be submitted directly to the Coast Guard Foundation office for review.
For further details and to apply visit the Coast Guard Foundation’s website. Deadline for applications is March 15, 2016. Learn more in the video below.
