The newest episode of the Coast Guard Paratus Report is now live! The Paratus Report is a workforce news program focused at keeping Coast Guard members informed of what’s happening throughout their Coast Guard. The episode will air monthly on the official Coast Guard YouTube channel, and a brief recap with additional information will be provided right here on Coast Guard All Hands.

Temporary Separation program
The Coast Guard has announced changes to the Temporary Separation program. As one of the 31 initiatives of the Human Capital Strategy, this policy change represents the first comprehensive review and update to the program since 2001.
Recruiting Command announcement
The Coast Guard Recruiting Command is looking for young men and women to join the Coast Guard’s enlisted ranks. If you know someone who would make a great shipmate, encourage him or her to talk to a recruiter today!

Shout out to Petty Officer Kevin Oakes, Petty Officer Agustin Foguet, and Seaman Manon Mullen from Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star for their ingenuity that allowed the nearly 40-year old icebreaker to accomplish its resupply mission to Antarctica.
