The newest episode of the Coast Guard Paratus Report is now live! The Paratus Report is a workforce news program focused at keeping Coast Guard members informed of what’s happening throughout their Coast Guard. The program is scheduled to air twice a month on the official Coast Guard YouTube channel , and right here on Coast Guard All Hands.
Operational Highlight: Hurricane Florence
Hurricane Florence brought damaging winds and record-breaking rain to the state of North Carolina. Coast Guard members across the nation deployed in support of search and recovery efforts. To date, more than 1,100 people have been rescued or assisted, and more than 400 pets have been saved. Additionally, Coast Guard members have helped clear roads for access, help restore electricity, reopened key ports and waterways, and replaced navigational aids.
