A U.S. Coast Guard C-130 long-range search plane from Air Station Barbers Point lands on Tern Island in the French Frigate Shoals, Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009. Officials from the Honolulu-based U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service contacted Coast Guard search and rescue coordinators in Honolulu at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday requesting the evacuation of their personnel as a precaution to the inbound Hurricane Neki.
