itCG-Infant medevac, world record rescue, Santa Cruz Island grounding, promoting CG careers

Post Written by Bob Hopkins Guardians transported a 54-day-old infant girl from American Samoa who required immediate medical attention. The child was flown on a Coast Guard C-130 based at Air Station Barber’s Point, which was assisted by a Disaster Medical Assist Team (DMAT). The infant was successfully transfered to hospital facilities in Oahu yesterday.
